Apr 15, 2017Fools ClassicPoint Pleasant, PA 18950 The Fools Classic is a challenging ride held in bucolic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The course is ca 79 miles long with 6000' of climbing, and 27 sectors of dirt/gravel roads. Glaciers carved out what is now the Delaware River, yielding some steep hills leading out of the river valley. These conditions combined with the dirt roads, lends perfectly to a tribute to the Ronde Van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders). While the route varies year-to-year, the concept is constant; ride a circuit of roads less traveled past picturesque farms, pre-revolutionary stone houses, and take in as many of the local unsealed roads as practical. The unsealed roads are all maintained public roads that are used daily by standard vehicles. They are perfectly suitable for standard road bikes with normal road tires, though the organizers recommend that you leave the lightweight stuff at home, and suggest that tires larger than 23mm will make your ride more enjoyable. https://www.bikereg.com/fools-classi
Apr 23, 2017Lu Lacka Wyco HundoJenkins Township , PAThis is the ride you've heard about. This is the ride you've been waiting for. This is 103 miles of mostly-traveled roads through Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wyoming counties in northearstern PA that will show you things you haven't seen, teach you things about yourself, and challenge your bike to keep you going when you can't see where the road and gravel and mud end, and civilization begins.
Apr 29, 2017The Fleche BuffoonNew Hope, PA 18938Finally, a “Spring Classic" for those of you who don’t particularly like riding on dirt roads. The Fleche Buffoon is our tribute to the Ardennes Classics (Fleche Wallone, Amstel Gold Race & the oldest of the classics, Liege-Bastogne-Liege). It is a circa 75 mile hilly ride through the Bucks County, PA & Hunterdon County, NJ countryside. The challenging course features 14 steep climbs over its route. Along the way there will be miles of country roads, scenic farmland and quaint river towns. In true Amstel fashion, there will even be an authentic Dutch windmill along the course (in Holland Township nonetheless). According to Ride with GPS, the course has 6100' of total elevation gain. Again, this course is entirely paved, no dirt, unlike our other Spring Classics, the Hell of Hunterdon and the Fools Classic.

May 20, 2017Pedal for the PuzzleBurnt Mills Rd, Bedminster, NJPedal for the Puzzle is an annual charity bike ride that brings people together to raise funds and awareness for autism. By riding for the cause, we show outward support for people with autism and their families. The donations we gather from riders and non-riders alike go to nonprofit organizations committed to improving the lives of individuals with autism. Autism represents a spectrum of neurodevelopmental disorders (ASDs) characterized by mild to severe impairment in social interaction, communication, and behavior. The condition affects 1 in 68 children nationwide and 1 in 45 children in New Jersey, which has the nation’s highest rate of autism. The causes of autism are not clear and it is not curable, but children with ASDs benefit greatly from early diagnosis and treatment. In 2015, over 150 cyclists participated in the ride and we raised a grand total of $40,000 for our beneficiaries, the Somerset Hills Learning Institute and Autism New Jersey. 10, 25 and 50 mile options
