Kids Bike Trade Up Program

Let High Gear Help You and Others, Too!

Bike shop quality kids bikes are built to last a long time. However, kids grow up fast, and their bikes get set aside when they've outgrown them. These bikes now can be put to good use and provide value to you after your child has grown out of his/her bike.

Now you can trade in any working children's bike that was purchased from High Gear for a Trade-up Credit. Use your Trade-up Credit on the purchase of any new bike in our store.

High Gear Cyclery, working with the Watchung Wheelmen Cycling Foundation, will donate your trade-in (after a thorough safety check) to Good Goes Around, an organization that finds a needy home for your donated bike so a local child can get to ride.

Here's how the trade-up program works:

Trade-in bikes must be previously purchased from High Gear (with the High Gear sticker), in good working order.
